As July and August are the peak months to escape the southern hemisphere winter where people leave in droves to get some much needed sun and ocean time, it is not only holidays for escaping, unwinding and for something new. Its to embrace the change of season. You welcome it, you yearn for the sun and look forward to the change and the feeling that the words holidays and summer put together bring to you. But then, as we know, all good things come to an end. Holidays come to a close and you know that you are back to not only your usual life but the cold, dark wintery chill. Its not easy to go from hot to cold. The change can be drastic, bring chills to your bones and it take a bit to accept the re adjustment. So, why is it, like the change in weather, men’s behaviour can go from hot to cold, or cold to hot? Is fickle like ordering a side of fries. Do you really want them? Sometimes it come with the meal so you take it. As weather changes and we just learn to adapt, how do you adapt to a guys change in behaviour? Are men just like the weather? And is it us girls who are the one’s who do all the adapting? Melbournes weather has a reputation for being the most fickle. So much that some of us keep a jacket in the car and an umbrella with us even in summer as you just never know. We have 4 seasons wardrobe ready for use at all times. So, is it that we have become accostomed to men and their weather like demenour that we are now prepared for ‘whatever’? Maybe men are just like the weather and its us women that have become stronger and wiser at picking the good and stable weather patterns and knowing how to deal with the stormy and chilly blasts that come along the way. Me thinks so.
